Atlanta, Miami and New York
 Jim Fox 

Jim Fox joins GlassRatner as Principal in New York office.  Prior to joining GlassRatner, he was a Managing Director at the financial and operational consulting firm of Executive Sound Board Associates Inc. for over 10 years. Mr. Fox has provided services in the areas of bankruptcy & restructuring, turnarounds/workouts, M&A and valuation. Paul Dopp joins GlassRatner as Principal in Atlanta Office. Paul's practice has focused exclusively in forensic accounting and litigation support over a 30-year career with significant international engagement experience. Paul's expertise includes economic damages, funds tracing, internal corporate investigations, business valuations and similar matters relating to business disputes. Carol FoxCarol Fox joins GlassRatner as Senior Managing Director in Miami office. Prior to joining GlassRatner, she was a partner at Kapila & Company, a niche firm focusing in areas of forensic accounting, litigation support and bankruptcy. For over a decade, Mrs. Fox's practice has focused on providing forensic and investigative services to debtors, Federal bankruptcy trustees and examiners, creditors' committees, court-appointed assignees and financial institutions. Bucky Wright joins GlassRatner as a Senior Manager in Atlanta office. Prior to joining GlassRatner, he was a valuation manager at ComStock Advisors, a niche financial consulting firm focusing in areas of business valuation and litigation support. His experience includes providing business valuation analysis for employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), estate and gift tax planning, litigation support, and merger and acquisition purposes. On behalf of ESOPs and ESOP trustees, he has performed feasibility studies, consulted on stock purchase transactions, prepared fairness and solvency opinions, annual valuation updates, consulted on sales of ESOP-owned companies, and buy-side analysis for ESOP-owned companies.To read more about Bucky's experience, click here.

GlassRatner Management Continues to Expand

GlassRatner Management and Realty Advisors LLC continues to grow and expand its presence. We are rapidly becoming one of the most active corporate receiver and property management companies serving special servicers and financial institutions. We manage the full life-cycle of an asset from receivership through foreclosure until disposition of an asset.  Our portfolio currently totals over 140 assets including 12,500 apartment units, 750,000 square feet of retail space, 300,000 square feet of office space, as well as numerous industrial, hotel, mobile home, and convenience store assets.  We employ over 450 property level employees and maintain an executive and back office operations staff of 30 employees.  Find out more at www.glassratnermanagement.com.

We are pleased to announce that Maggie Smith was recently appointed Chapter 7 Panel Bankruptcy Trustee in the Southern District of Florida. This will be a terrific expansion of Maggie's existing practice. More than eight years has passed since trustees were added to the panel in the Southern District of Florida and the field of applicants for the available positions were extensive.
