

Leanne Gould is a CPA with 20 years experience in Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Accounting, Bankruptcy Consulting and Manufacturing. Ms. Gould joined GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, LLC from Ernst & Young’s Investigative & Dispute Services practice. Prior to Ernst & Young, Ms. Gould was a manager at a litigation and bankruptcy boutique accounting firm.
Ms. Gould assists her clients and their counsel in understanding complex financial issues arising in the context of commercial litigation and bankruptcy proceedings. Her experience includes all phases of the dispute resolution process from fact-finding and discovery through damage calculation, trial and expert testimony. She has provided valuation and forensic accounting services in a variety of matters in litigation and outside the litigation process including valuations for capital raising efforts and the sale of partnership/shareholder interests. Ms. Gould led engagement teams retained to investigate and calculate damages in a variety of litigation matters involving lost profits, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, conspiracy, wrongful termination, market manipulation, and asset misappropriation/diversion claims. She has also acted as Arbitrator retained directly by parties to post-M&A disputes.
In the bankruptcy arena, Ms. Gould has provided services to both distressed companies and their creditors including transaction reconstruction and asset tracing, solvency analysis, preference analysis, operational analysis, and investigation of causes of action including those related to fraudulent conveyance, bankruptcy fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Complementing her consulting experience, Ms. Gould has management experience in the optical equipment and respiratory device manufacturing industries where she was responsible for accounting operations, information systems, human resource administration and product management. This base of knowledge provides Ms. Gould with the unique ability to understand her client’s business and relate to her client’s business needs.
Ms. Gould holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA), American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) where she was a founding member of the Georgia Network and is currently serving as North American Vice Director of Regional Programming.
Ms. Gould has spoken on a variety of accounting and financial topics at law firms and professional conferences such as the ABI’s Southeast Regional Bankruptcy Workshop, Institute of Continuing Education in Georgia, and the Emory University Bankruptcy Developments Journal Symposium.
Ms. Gould is currently leading several assignments in GlassRatner’s Forensic & Litigation Accounting and Bankruptcy & Restructuring Advisory Services practices.
