David Greenblatt, CPA is a Director at GlassRatner with over ten years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring services, forensic accounting and litigation support services. Prior to joining GlassRatner, Mr. Greenblatt worked for a boutique accounting firm in Florida where he represented debtors, creditors and Trustees in bankruptcy proceedings by providing expertise in financial models and projections, oversight in daily operations, preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, preparation of tax returns and the creation of business plans for reorganizations. His industry experience includes hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, and nursing homes. Mr. Greenblatt also has worked on various forensic accounting matters including the complex tracing of funds and assets.

Prior assignments include:

  • Representing debtors, creditors, and Trustees in managing and assisting with both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases from inception to case closing
  • Investigating preferential payments, fraudulent transfers and financial statements
  • Overseeing the operation of entities, preservation of assets, preparing budgets, projections and business plans for Chapter 11 reorganizations
  • Assisting FTC and SEC Receivers on assets investigations and management, including treasure functions
  • Working and managing the various aspects of operating and liquidating entities

Mr. Greenblatt is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida, a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor and received Masters of Accounting and Masters of Taxation degrees from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, Mr. Greenblatt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland. Mr. Greenblatt is a member of the AIRA.
