Jack has 40 years of experience in commercial building construction of all types as a general contractor, consultant and owner.  

The first half of his career was in senior operational positions at major general contracting firms. As a contractor, he had full charge responsibilities constructing office, hotel, multi-family, industrial and medical facilities. He built a high-rise hotel and office properties in New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta GA, Tampa Florida and internationally. 

The second half of his career has included working for real estate owners and developers as Vice President of Design and Construction building and managing hotels, multi-family, and office properties.  As a consultant he has performed condition assessments of over 300 buildings for acquisition and asset management and assisted attorneys in negotiating claims and disputes.

Additionally, Jack has taught for 14 years as an adjunct instructor at both Georgia Tech and Georgia State University teaching undergraduate and graduate level classes in contracting, construction management, project planning, real estate fundamentals and development.  He is also an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

 Jack holds Professional Engineer licenses in Georgia and the District of Columbia.

His professional association memberships and board memberships include American Society of Civil Engineers, Georgia Geotechnical Section; Real Estate Investment Advisory Council; Construction Management Association of America; Atlanta Hospitality Alliance; Georgia State University Association of Real Estate Alumni; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association; and Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association.

Jack has had various speaking engagements and publications including Georgia Association of Physical Plant Administrators; The University Financing Foundation; Georgia Tech; The Institute of Continuing Legal Education; law firms and real estate societies.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA in finance from Rutgers University, real estate advanced certificates from Georgia State University and New York University, and has attended numerous continuing education courses.
