Lori Coffey has 15 years of experience in the commercial and residential real estate industry and 30 years of experience in overall business development. Ms. Coffey has provided expert witness testimony in accordance with the preparation of appraisals involving bankruptcy. She has performed appraisals in Georgia, New York, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Ms. Coffey has provided real estate services such as site surveys, valuation, building inspections, market and feasibility analysis, litigation support, and consultation. Clients include private investors, attorneys, appraisal firms, local and regional banks.

Specialty properties Ms. Coffey has appraised include mixed use developments, senior living developments, eminent domain projects, conservation easements, resort properties, day care centers, retail centers, marinas, funeral homes, places of worship, subdivisions, luxury residential properties, office buildings, industrial buildings and vacant land. Some of Lori's experience is detailed as follows:

• Managed large appraisal projects (such as Big Canoe Properties) valued at $200+ million dollars for conservation easement purposes in multiple states;

• Developed cost analysis/estimates for properties and works with contractors to develop projections for improvements/renovations for interior and exterior construction elements such as site improvements, structural repairs, water damage, exterior construction modifications, HVAC, FF&E, etc.;

• Worked extensively to create income and expense analysis by reconstructing rent rolls and examining historical expenses. Leases include ground leases, short- and long-term tenant leases, telecommunication leases, etc.; and

• Read and interpret GDOT plans for eminent domain projects, architectural plans, blue prints, surveys, floor plans, etc. She is familiar with building regulations according to zoning regulations.

Ms. Coffey is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute and has completed all the advanced courses required for the MAI designation. Ms. Coffey has served the Long Island and Atlanta Area Chapters for ten years in various capacities and has received three scholarships from the Institute.
