Arsalan Kayhanfar joined GlassRatner in 2018 as an Associate in the Irvine office and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019 for exceptional performance. Arsalan has worked on deals and litigation matters in the Restaurant, Retail, Energy, Telecom, Real Estate, Entertainment, Technology, and Healthcare industries. Prior to joining GlassRatner, Arsalan worked as an Operations Assistant for one of the largest medical equipment importing companies in the Middle East.

Arsalan's relevant experience includes the following:

  • Financial advisory support to Debtors and Debtors in Possession in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Proceedings.
  • Plan Feasibility and Confirmation Analysis in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Proceedings.
  • Financial advisory support to distressed companies, including as part of a team that was retained as the Chief Restructuring Officer ("CRO").
  • Calculation of estimated damages on litigation cases involving substantial companies.
  • Created robust user-friendly financial 3-statement models and direct cash flow projections for clients.
  • Assisted in writing Financial Expert Reports in various litigation cases.
  • Provided consulting financial advisory services to companies with complex business structures and developed different data-driven strategies for the company's growth.

Arsalan has an MBA with a 4.0 GPA from Chapman University where he became a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma ("BGS"). BGS has chapters at only the top 5% of business programs, and only the top performing scholars from those programs are invited. He also ranked in the 98th percentile in the ETS Major Field Test ("MFT"). The ETS Major Field Tests are comprehensive MBA outcome assessments designed to measure the critical knowledge and understanding obtained by scholars in a major field of study. Arsalan also has a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran (Ranked 39 by U.S.News in the World for Engineering) where he graduated as an Exceptional Talent Student.
